Hill County Paw Pals, Hill County, Texas

“Lil Miss of Texas”

Introduces Paw Pals’ 5th Annual County-wide Garage Sale

Hill County Paw Pals is busy organizing and promoting the 5th annual county-wide garage sale to support the building of an animal shelter for Hill County.  Marilyn Kerr, of Hillsboro, has graciously stepped forth to again head the team of volunteers this year.  The much anticipated sale will occur November 1st and 2nd at the Hillsboro Civic Center (former Wal-Mart building).

The garage sale is the largest fund raiser for Paw Pals, but the vast coming together of this community to end pet overpopulation is the real story.  Many citizens put aside donations throughout the year for this worthy cause.  Paw Pals volunteers spend countless hours sorting and pricing merchandise to be ready for the two day event when the doors open at 8am on November 1st.  The community support for this vast sale is unsurpassed and is a direct reflection of the “get the job done” spirit of Hill County.

Pictured are Marilyn and Brittany Keaveny.  Brittany is the daughter of Danny and Tammy Burkhart of Aquilla and was recently crowned “Little Miss of Texas”.  Brittany is just 10 years old but is eager to demonstrate her dedication to community service with participation in the Paw Pals garage sale.

Donated goods will be accepted beginning October 27th through October 30th from 8am-8pm and October 31st from 8am-5pm at the Hillsboro Civic Center (the former Wal-Mart building).  For more information, please contact Marilyn at 582-2352.  For information about Paw Pals, visit our weblog www.helphillcountyanimals.com; or call (254) 580-0679.
