IHOP’s “Dine for the Paws” Gift Presentation

Dine for the Paws Gift Presentation During the month of May, IHOP Restaurant hosted “Dine for the Paws” where a portion of diners’ meal cost was donated to Hill County Paw Pals. Pictured are Jon Dyess, IHOP manager, presenting $217.34 to Denny Dutton, Paw Pals volunteer.

“Dine for the Paws” was a community oriented project hosted by IHOP to helped raise funds while bringing attention to Paw Pals’ mission. Paw Pals was able to display an informational poster and brochures for the entire month of May where thousands of people had a chance to view.

Paw Pals represents a group of citizens who organized 8 years ago with goals that include facilitating the installation of a much needed proactive County Animal Control Program to become an essential part in correcting Hill County’s horrific pet overpopulation issue.

Within Paw Pals’ goals is building a supporting animal shelter where construction started last month at 1500 South Abbott Avenue in Hillsboro by David Russell Construction Company.
