Operation CatNip at Hill College

Hill College has become proactive with correcting their feral cat population with a time-proven Trap-Neuter-Return (T-N-R) Program. Hill College has joined with three great organizations: Paw Pals, Brazos River Rescue Ranch & Texas Coalition for Animal Protection.  The T-N-R program also includes vaccinating trapped cats against the deadly rabies virus (making our community safer). This inaugural project has been dubbed OPERATION CATNIP.

Recall that a pair of uncontrolled breeding cats can produce (because of exponential growth rate) 420,715 cats in a five year period! This total balloons to 10 million cats after 10 years! Simply stated, without proactive intervention, cat overpopulation will not go away but only worsen.
